J is currently in Miami, Florida and we noticed when researching for her trip there weren’t many travel reviews. They were able to get a few good food pictures so we decided to do a quick foodie review! The Broken Shaker was recommended to them by someone from their hotel. J described it as “hipster level high” and I think it took them a bit to figure out where to sit. (Once you find the hostess stand you’ll be able to figure it out, they just got confused because there was no sign) Ingredients are grown fresh in the garden out back and they are known for hand-crafted and inventive cocktails. J and her boyfriend ordered some drinks and cocktails and compared the atmosphere to Imperial here in Ferndale. As is everything in South Beach nothing is a bargain but this place was reasonably priced; they spent about 40 dollars on 3 drinks and 2 appetizers. They gave the food and drinks a 4/5 and would definitely recommend.
