We love good pizza and we had the best time last week checking out the awesome pies at California Pizza Kitchen!
While pizza was first and foremost on our minds, we also had to try some of the appetizers on the menu. We fell in love with the NEW SPICY BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER bites! Fresh cauliflower florets buttermilk-battered and fried to a golden brown, then tossed in housemade Sriracha buffalo sauce and topped with a salad of celery, cilantro, scallions and Gorgonzola. I don’t know how we went so many years not realizing that Cauliflower is basically the best veggie on earth – but we love this food trend and all the versatile ways it is prepared lately!
We also tried some delicious cocktails including the SPARKLING BERRY-LEMON. It’s as tasty as it is pretty!

Since our squad is 1/2 vegetarian we ordered the new CITRUS ADOBO Pizza, minus the meat but on the NEW Cauliflower Crust. The Cauliflower crust has the perfect texture and crunch. It is awesome. I’d recommend trying this even if you aren’t eating low-carb or gluten-free. It just tastes good. Period. We also loved the toppings on this one! Any pizza can be made using their new Cauliflower Crust!
Lastly, because we LOVE Thai food we also tried the THAI CHICKEN pizza on their regular crust. The flavor on this one is so spot on and delicious. If you love Pad Thai this might become one of your new favorite pizzas!
