I’m here with the second installment of GGH does The ‘Burbs!

My first stop this week was Trizest in Madison Heights. This place is amazing if you are vegetarian. They have THE BEST VEGETARIAN Chinese food. Honestly, even if you eat meat try the vegetarian dishes. I ordered the Orange ‘chicken’ and also the real sweet and sour chicken for this post. Both are really tasty, but if I had to recommend something to try on your first visit – I’d say go for the orange ‘chicken’! It’s spicy and sweet and whatever meat substitute they use is BOMB!

Next up was Daddy’s Doughnuts in Utica, MI. If you are looking for a unique and tasty doughnut everything at Daddy’s Doughnuts is made-to-order with hundreds of combinations to choose from. You start with their vanilla cake donut, then choose an icing, and your toppings.  I went with some of their most popular combinations:

If you are a traditionalist when it comes to doughnuts, you may not love these sweet and crunchy concoctions –  but for anyone with a true sweet tooth you will be in doughnut heaven!

According to their website they do deliver and offer catering options!
