It’s been a minute but we’re back with another week of suburban dining – around Detroit!

URGE JUICE 

We’ve been trying to eat a little healthier this month so my first stop this week was at Urge Juice in Berkley, Michigan. This is a great place to grab Organic Cold-Pressed juice, açaí bowls, avocado toast, and tasty smoothies. I stopped in for an açaí bowl. I wasn’t sure what to top it with so I let the girl at the counter help me choose. I don’t remember everything she added but I’m pretty sure I had some cacao nibs, goji berries, granola and nut butter on top. It was DELICIOUS and oh so filling.

THE LUNCH CAFE 

I’ve loved the The Lunch Cafe in Berkley for years now! I always order a turkey sandwich on toasted white bread, add mayo. It’s so simple but there is something SO GOOD about this sandwich. They have lots of sandwiches on their menu, including some wraps, plus salad and soup. They have limited hours – open until 4PM Monday through Saturday and closed Sunday.

Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters – Royal Oak

I know I’ve posted about Dessert Oasis a few times on our Instagram – but they are one of my favorite spots to work in the AM. I love the coffee and their Spinach Feta pastry is literally to die for. They also have some delicious crepes and a counter full of decadent looking cakes!
