Girls Gone Hungry Masters Teppanyaki at Benihana

This post was sponsored by Benihana. All opinions are our own.

Hello, friends! We’ve partnered with Benihana to tell you about their Be the Chef
Program! This month we were able to visit the Dearborn, MI location and try our hands
at cooking on a hibachi grill while learning the art of teppanyaki from a master chef.  We
cooked up signature fried rice, built an onion volcano, and learned a few of Benihana’s
world-famous tricks. The basic package is $200 for four people (guest chef and 3 three
guests). The chef’s guests will enjoy a meal of Benihana soup, Benihana salad, shrimp
appetizer, hibachi vegetables, Splash ‘N Meadow entrees, signature homemade dipping
sauces, Japanese hot green tea and choice of ice cream.
If you’re looking for something unique and fun to do with a couple of friends, we highly
recommend participating in this program.  We had a blast and learned how to cook all
the while. We’ve posted a few photos from our visit below. Enjoy!

We brought along our friend Chris to be the guest Chef. You can see he took this responsibility very seriously.
Chris listening very intently as our master chef explained the ins and out of teppanyaki.  No messing around guys – they put you right to work after the presentation!
Can’t forget the signature sauces!
They said we could make any shape, but of course I requested the beating heart! <3
The most beautiful rice heart I ever did see!
Very fancy serving skills.
Voilà! We created our very own meal at Benihana and had the best time doing it!
