New Dishes at Punch Bowl Social Detroit :: Brats & Spaghetti

Processed with VSCO with c7 preset

Punch Bowl Social is one of our go-to spots for a night out in Detroit. The food is great, we love the vibe, and most importantly – there is bowling! We were very excited to learn they have two new dishes this spring. The first is Beer Braised Brats which is served with parsley mashed potatoes, green apple-celery slaw and pickled mustard seeds.

The second, Spaghetti, Meet Ball…Or Not. This pasta dish is served with house-made zesty marinara, garlic toasted ciabatta, Parmesan and fresh basil, plus grass-fed, hormone-free beef meatballs (if desired).

The rest of the menu is just as good! We also ordered the Sriracha Peanut Fries. These come smothered in Hoisin sauce, sriracha, garlic mayo, pickled chilies, red onions, crushed peanuts, and cilantro. They have just the right amount of spice!

For all you veggies out there – Punch Bowl Social is one of the few places you can order the Impossible Burger. It looks and taste like real meat, but it’s vegetarian. G loves it.

If you’re looking for something healthy try the Superfood Grain Bowl. It comes complete with crispy farro, quinoa, kale, radishes, carrots, pickled chilies, shiitake mushrooms, vinaigrette and poached egg.

The lobster roll is sure to be a crowd favorite. It has fresh chilled, poached lobster, soured cream, mayo, lemon, roma tomato, boursin cheese, and a sesame seed bun.

We also noticed an event was going on while we were there. Different sections of the restaurant can be rented out for gatherings and parties. They offer bowling, karaoke, darts, and even a small arcade.

Last, and no surprise, The 360 Bar makes the punch of your dreams.
