Girls Gone Hungry

Novi Town Center $100 Challenge: Girls Night Out

We teamed up with Novi Town Center for the $100 Challenge! We had $100 to spend on a night out exploring Novi Town Center’s many dining options! We decided we’d hit up a Happy Hour, enjoy a dinner and drinks, and end the night with some dessert. Check out where we ate for the perfect night out!

Bone Fish Grill

We love a good Happy Hour, and Bone Fish Grill did not disappoint. We love margaritas and these tasty cocktails are only $5 during Happy Hour! PRO TIP: Sit at the bar to enjoy the Happy Hour Appetizer menu. We tried the Artichoke Fritto and it was AMAZING. There were also some great sea food options like Crispy Calamari and Cod sliders!  We ended up seated next to the sweetest older couple who recommended we try Jim Brady’s for dinner. The best part of Happy Hour is making new friends!

Every Girls Night needs some cocktails and wine

Jim Brady’s Bistro

We loved the recommendation from our new friends at Bone Fish Grill so we headed over to Jim Brady’s for dinner. They have an excellent cocktail menu and we got the loveliest drinks to start our meal!

The Blackberry Margarita and Blushing Lady Martini were the perfect start to our meals!

For our meals we chose a Turkey burger and a Vegetarian Sloppy Jo. The Sloppy Jo was actually a really interesting twist for a vegetarian dish. It’s made with Braised Black Lentils, Shredded Carrot, Sloppy Spices, and Crispy Onion Rings on a Sesame Seed Bun. All the burger options came with fries or coleslaw.

Turkey Burgers are one of my favorite things to order. Jim Brady’s makes theirs with Low Fat Ricotta topped with Sriracha Mayo! YUM

We shared the Shaved Brussels Sprouts and they were delicious! All the sides on the menu are only $5 with options like Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes, Cauliflower Gratin, and Six Cheese Macaroni! The restaurant had a cozy vibe and we loved this mural on the wall!

We agree 100% Julia!

Yogurt City

After dinner and drinks we were ready for dessert. We love customizing our frozen yogurt and their was plenty of toppings to choose from!

We loaded up our frozen yogurt with fruit, candy, sprinkles and whipped cream!

At the end of the night we spent a grand total of $96 – just under our $100 challenge limit!

Here’s our Total Breakdown!

Happy Hour at Bone Fish Grill  … 3 drinks and a Happy Hour App/ $20 + 5 tip = $25

Dinner at Jim Brady’s Bistro … 2 cocktails, 2 burgers, and a shareable side = $47.40 + 9 tip = $56.40
