Ann Arbor’s new Jazz Club The Blue LLama is the perfect blend of amazing music, fantastic food, and out of this world cocktails. Checking out this beautiful space and it’s new menu was such a treat!

The space itself is super luxe but still comfortable. There is ample seating but I’d recommend a reservation if you are arriving after 7. There’s booth and table seating plus a beautiful bar to grab a seat at.

I CANNOT gush enough over the cocktails. We tried the Tea Haus Mai Tai and the Zooty Strides. I would recommend either or better yet both! They also offer a great wine menu and bottled beer.

Once you’re feeling a little boozy it’s time to try some shared plates! We sampled some amazing dishes from Chef Louis Goral. First up was a thoughtfully curated Charcuterie Board and Cheese Tasting. Both make a perfect after work snack with some great wine + jazz.

If you’re looking for something more substantial there are plenty of options! We enjoyed every dish we tried. Chef Louis Goral has put together an extremely craveable menu with unique dishes that were so fun to eat.

Last but not least make sure to try some of the desserts from the menu. The Tour De Chocolat is a work of art AND delicious! It would be the perfect ending for a special birthday meal or anniversary.

The Blue Llama is 100% worth the drive if you are in the Detroit area. It’s perfect for date night or a girls night out. While we were there we loved how diverse the crowd was. Couples, students, and the after work crowd all hanging together to enjoy music and food. There’s literally nothing we love more than music, eating, and drinking! We will definitely be back!
