My boyfriend works midnights and I work 9-5 so we don’t get to spend a lot of daylight hours together. But lately on Saturday mornings we’ve been going on fun breakfast dates and trying new diners. This weekend we tried the Grand Diner in Novi. I loved this place! It’s an older restaurant and has seen some wear and tear but I loved the turquoise booths, black and white tiled floor, memorabilia on the walls and wonderful service. My boyfriend ordered the Mexican Omelette. It was smothered in chili sauce and seemed too big to eat but he managed to clean his plate. I got 2 eggs over easy, american fries and white toast. It was standard diner fare, but sometimes that is exactly what hits the spot. It looked like they had really good burgers and milkshakes so I definitely hope to come back! -h
